EFSA gives unfavorable opinion for Slimaluma® and claimed weight loss effect

EFSA has published 5 new scientific opinions on the Article 13(5) health claim effect for Slimaluma® relating to weight loss, pursuant to the Nutrition and Health Claims Regulation. The opinion published on the 12 May concludes that there is no cause and effect relationship between the consumption of this ingredient and the claimed effect, due to a number of study limitations.
